Christmas Decor Inspirations and Companies I love for Home Styling at Christmas.

Updated: Nov 22, 2022

Christmas celebrations are the perfect opportunity to hone in on a bit of creativity and the perfect excuse for designing your festive home and table. Here are some of the companies I love who do Christmas so well.

THE EMBROIDERED NAPKIN COMPANY

I stumbled across this company during the pandemic. My love of needlework resurfaced when we were confined to our homes. The quietness of focusing on creating stitches, using gorgeous coloured embroidery threads and creating settled me during turbulent times. Who doesn't love a satisfying project or a good book.

As I scoured Instagram for ideas I fell in love with this company's beautiful linen napkins, a dream for anyone who loves creating tables and fine dining experiences. All creatives love textures to create not just a look, but an experience. Fine dining and crisps white linen go hand in hand.

Their reusable Christmas crackers are a dream, fill them each year with gifts for your guests and tied beautifully with a velvet bow. Each year you can bring them out again and fill them with something gorgeous for your guests. I love this as it is waste free, sustainable and again an enchanting addition to your Christmas table.

If you are planning your wedding take a look at the personalised napkins for weddings. A timeless favour your guests will take home and use again and again reminding them of your special day and elevating your tables as well instead of something your guests will just shove into their bits and bobs drawer.

DRESS FOR DINNER

If you are a pink and glitter girl you will love this company. Head over to see their Sugar Plum Collection.

As a child I was taken to see the Nutcracker ballet, that enchanted memory stays with me. I remember a huge Christmas tree appearing and the Nutcracker Ballet dance under it.

Although I don't personally own any Nutcracker figurines, I love them, it reminds me of being in London at Christmas and visiting Claridges.

I am an avid snow globe collector instead, give me a gorgeous glass snow globe full of glitter or snow and I will be forever your friend!

The Evergreen Glade Collection is a more refreshing change for Christmas and a stand the test of time choice for decorating your Christmas table. It will never go out of fashion, the same can be said of this colour combo for weddings.

TOM MARTIN

Tom Martin create the most exquisite hand blown glass ornaments.

They are hand painted in reverse, from the inside, an utterly amazing skill resulting in some seriously beautiful baubles which will become treasured family heirlooms. I am fascinated as to how they make them.

Their beautifully curated collections are based on themes such as London depicting scenes of Father Christmas and the Royal Guards, The Nutcracker, a timeless Christmas Classic.

They also have a gorgeous bauble, perfect for a Christmas engagement called the Winter Window and the classic Snowman film that makes me cry everytime!

If you want to remember your engagement with something special to hang on your tree year after year pop over and take a look.

MRS ALICE

If you struggle to be creative, would love to decorate your table with something a little different this year head over to Mrs Alice for plenty of festive table inspiration.

Beautifully curated, magical tablescapes that push the boundaries, Mrs Alice sources usual props, linens, glassware, crockery and seamlessly brings them together. All the collections are available to purchase as tablescape in a box, or you can buy items individually.

I particularly love the Mrs Claus Collection designed by Alice´s mother. Whilst different it evokes a frosty festive scene.

The Christmas Carol Collection is also embracing the greens this year, olive flocked reindeers, emerald glass Christmas trees, with touches of golds.

There are other sets, the Merry Highlands with of course a Christmas tartan theme, reminds me of old Scottish castles with dark wood panelling, maybe a homage to the Queen and her adored Christmases in the Highlands. The Swiss Chalet set is perfect for winter sport lovers, chalet style and bringing the Swiss mountains into your home.

Playful yet beautifully done, the mix of textures, patterns and accessories is gorgeous and love the unusual themed crockery.
